Financial Aid

Capital Model United Nations Conference 2022 is committed to providing assistance to delegates that would otherwise be unable to attend for financial reasons as we believe that every student should have the opportunity to participate in CAPMUN 2022 regardless of their financial background. As such, we provide significant financial aid to help delegates from all backgrounds to attend the conference. All students in need are strongly encouraged to apply.

The main prerequisites for granting assistance are that delegates show both demonstrated need and demonstrated fundraising efforts. Please note that CAPMUN 2022 will only be offering financial aid to delegates that have exhausted all other financial resources.

Our financial aid is strictly need-based. Financial aid will comprise reductions or waivers of delegate fees. In the following application, we ask for information regarding your finances that we believe will help us to determine the amount of aid required by each delegation or applicant. We therefore ask that you provide proof of need in all applicable areas via email to XXX after submitting the online application. All information will be treated with confidentiality and used only for financial aid purposes.

Priority financial aid applications are due on XXX by 11:59pm Eastern Time, and the second round of financial aid applications will be due on the same time as regular registration. The Secretariat will prioritize aid decisions to those who apply by the priority deadline.
